Little Five Points Oral History Project
As A Non-Profit, Community-Led Radio Station, Volunteerism Is The Life Blood Of WRFG. We Have A Wide Variety Of Needs That Reflect The Unique Talents Within Our Community. While There Are Opportunities To Provide Technical Assistance And Broadcast Training, We Also Utilize Volunteers To Help With Newsletters, Event Planning, Tabling, Graphic Design, Day-To-Day Office Work, Archiving, And More.
This Project Is Ongoing. If You Have A Story To Share Or Can Connect Us To Keepers Of L5p’s History, Please Send Inquiries And Information To: L5PORALHISTORY@WRFG.ORG.

In Order For The Story Of This Unique Community Not To Be Lost, WRFG And The Little Five Points Business Association Embarked On A Partnership Designed To Capture The Modern Oral History Of L5P. Beginning In 2024, With The Backing Of The Atlanta History Center’s Oral History In A Backpack Initiative And Support From A Grant From Georgia Humanities, WRFG Interviewers Recorded Interviews With Several Individuals Whose Memories Can Provide Us With An Understanding Of The Story Of The Distinctive Community That We Know As “Little 5”.
WRFG 89.3 FM is Independent thanks to the support of listeners like you.
