Every Monday at 6AM, Different Hues of the Blues opens the gates to a week of Good Morning Blues programming here at WRFG. On Monday morning I play the best in traditional and current blues – favoring legendary blues from the Delta to Chicago, Memphis, and West Coast blues. I also feature local blues musicians, past and present, and the great current musicians who are keeping this unique tradition of America’s art form alive today.
Sydney Titelman
Known as “Sydney, Gatekeeper of the Blues,” I have been producing and hosting Different Hues of the Blues on Monday @ 6AM for 20+ years. I have deep reverence for the blues, its tradition and history, and feel privileged to share this appreciation with the listeners. I enjoy all types of music, but it all seems to come back to the blues for me. Join me on Monday and I will make you happy to be blue and put a little sugar in your bowl.
