Happy Grass airs on Wednesday nights, from 8-10pm, alternating every other week with Southern Flavor. Subjects covered on my show: usually I will have live bands in the studio, playing and talking about their Bluegrass music. Bluegrass consists of a banjo, guitar, bass, fiddle and a mandolin. It was founded by Bill Monroe in Kentucky. I play artists from Ralph Stanley to Bill Monroe, Allison Krauss, The Steep Canyon Rangers.

I have been with WRFG since 2000, for 25 years. When I first came to WRFG, I used to listen to the station, one day I called and Ebon Dooley told me to come on down. My show is called HappyGrass, why? Because I am always so happy.
