The Labor Forum is a weekly, one hour program on Mondays from 4-5 pm. Currently it is hosted by Dianne Mathiowetz, Jadelynn Zhang, and Paul McLennan all of whom are union members and community activists. The program is engineered by WRFG Airshifter, Calvin “Family Man” Ivey. Topics of discussion on the show will cover any and all issues impacting workers and oppressed peoples in the US and globally with an emphasis on collective fightback and resistance.

Dianne Mathiowetz is a retired auto worker, member of UAW Local #10 who worked for 30 years at GM assembly and parts plants. She is a political activist engaged in building working class, anti-imperialist consciousness and organization for over 50 years. She values The Labor Forum program as an ongoing learning experience.

Calvin Ivey began his volunteer journey at WRFG in the Spring of 2017 and soon completed the WRFG Broadcast Class later that year. He’s been an official Airshifter since 2018, where he has engineered for the Labor Forum and occasionally fills in where he can be of service, curating music on Soul Rhapsody, Global Drumbeat, and Night Watch programs. “Proud To Be Part Of This Institution”

Paul McLennan is a retired member of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 732 and also active for more than 50 years in many social movements. Grateful to be part of the Labor Forum team where we have the opportunity to lift up the voices of workers engaged in struggle and discuss all the intersectional issues that affect workers locally and globally.
