Revolutionary African Perspectives – Archive Index

Revolutionary African Perspectives (RAP) is a public affairs program on WRFG 89.3 Atlanta. Broadcasting politics, community, and revolutionary analysis every Monday 7-8 PM ET.  The show features guests ranging from cultural workers, political organizers, authors, and community members covering local, national, and international news. The hosts provide fresh and critical perspectives on the politics affecting the everyday lives of Black/African people. 

RAP was originally founded by former WRFG airshifter, longtime activist and cultural worker Sobukwe Shukura, in 2002. Over the years, the show has had a dynamic range of hosts, and Dartricia, Musa and Steven are proud to continue the legacy of RAP since March 2025.

Dartricia Rollins is an archivist, oral historian, and organizer with the Black Alliance for Peace and the Jericho Movement. She is a board member of WRFG 89.3 Atlanta and co-host of Revolutionary African Perspectives. 

Steven is an organizer with the Black Alliance for Peace with a focus on political education. A designer by trade, when he’s not working, he enjoys the company of his cat and resting outside on his patio.

Musa Springer is a cultural worker, journalist, and lifelong student. They host the Groundings podcast. 

Leyla Scott is an organizer with the Black Alliance for Peace, a member of Reel Liberation African Film Collective, and a producer on WRFG’s Revolutionary African Perspectives. 

taylor money-worthy (they/them) is a gardener, student of Black Studies, member of Black Alliance for Peace Atlanta Citywide Alliance, producer on Revolutionary African Perspectives, and proud volunteer at WRFG Atlanta.

Abayomi is an organizer with the Black Alliance for Peace, a culinary artist, and steward of the land.
