Hand-picked, quality jazz and poetry, every Wednesday night, from 10pm till ‘round midnight live on WRFG-Atlanta, 89.3FM.

The purpose of Sunny’s Mood is to broadcast a diverse array of hand-picked jazz, jazz-influenced music, and poetry that celebrates the social, political, and musical context that jazz music nurtures and sustains.

Evan Matthews is an organizer, poet, and life-long WRFG listener. He grew up listening to Rockers International and Music from India in the garage while his dad cleaned the carburetors on his old school cars. Now, Evan broadcasts hand-picked quality jazz and poetry every Wednesday night, a block away from where his grandmother graduated high school.
