Our 38th annual Labor Day Blues Barbecue was one of the best ever. And we want to say thank all those who made it possible.
First, the artists who gave us such great music (in order of appearance):Jackson and the Nightcaps, William “Blues Man” Reed and the Juke Joint Dukes, E.G. Kight, and Kat Riggins.
A huge thank you to our host: The Park Tavern in Piedmont Park.
We also want to thank our sponsors: Atlanta Blues Society, Cathead Distillery, Big Green Egg, and Fulton County Arts and Culture.
And we couldn’t have done without our hardworking family WRFG volunteers and staff.
But, most of all, we want to thank you for your continued support of the blues and WRFG 89.3 FM, now celebrating our 50th year as your independent community radio station for progressive information and handpicked quality music.
We look forward to seeing you at the 39th annual WRFG Labor Day Blues Barbecue on Monday, September 2, 2024!
