In honor of our 50th anniversaries, WRFG 89.3FM and the Seed and Feed Marching Abominable are the grand marshals for this year’s Halloween parade through Little 5 Points, the third largest Halloween parade in the U.S. and the biggest in the southeast.

Please march with us. It’s going to be a lot of fun and you will get to meet some of your favorite WRFG airshifters. We encourage you to wear your favorite WRFG shirt and/or Halloween costume to help us celebrate our golden anniversary and Atlanta’s diverse and inclusive Little 5 Points community.

The parade will start at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, but we will have to be in line by 1:30 p.m.

You can either meet up with us at the Inman Park Marta Station at 12:30 p.m. or at the Little 5 Points Community Center at 1:00 p.m. The community center is located at 1083 Austin Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30307. Please take Marta if you can.

The route is about a mile – from the Community Center, down Austin to Moreland, then down Moreland to Freedom Parkway. Since we’re in front right behind the Seed and Feed Marching Abominable, we should be done by 2:30 p.m. After we’re done, you can walk a little way up Moreland to watch the rest of the parade or ride back to the station and/or the Inman Park Marta Station.

Bring your friends and family. Kids are more than welcome. You can walk or ride in one of our vehicles. You can ride a bicycle or a foot-powered scooter. Motorcycles, horses, and household pets are strictly prohibited.

If you want to use a jetpack, please bring enough for everyone.
