The Celtic Show began in the early ’80s as The Celtic Hour, hosted by John Maschinot. It later expanded to two hours, and John Adcox joined to co-host. Over the years, there have been other hosts (notably Dublin native John Falstaff) come and go, including Jenny Hubbard, Siusaidh Ruadh, and Jon Kiger.

Fergus O’Keefe is a native New Yorker that has been traveling to Ireland his whole life. He has been a host on TCS since 2018. His shows search for intersections in the Celtic music sounds – Appalachian, Canadian maritime, trad music, singer-songwriters and even touches of Celtic fusions with jazz and electronica.

Long-time host Dave Aton started at WRFG in 1990 hosting What the Folk?! when it aired on Sunday nights. When it later moved to Fridays, he switched to hosting The Celtic Show.
